Following are some of my core beliefs and values. I jotted them down one night to help ground my own thoughts about what I am trying to achieve. They don’t have to be yours. That’s okay. I am sharing them because I think it’s often helpful to understand where people are coming from and what motivates them. And since you’ve wound your way to this space, perhaps you would like to share yours?

  • I believe one of the strongest desires any of us has it to feel connected and that we have made a difference; that somehow, life in general, and our life in particular, matters.
  • I believe everyone has gifts to offer to the world (and I want to help them share those gifts).
  • I believe people are empowered when they are able to contribute to the greater good, in whatever ways they can.
  • I believe that feeling useful- and valued- is a foundation for fundamental change.
  • I believe that we as a society, and individuals, are better off when we allow others to contribute.
  • I believe sharing our experiences – our stories- is the best way to create deeper connections and transformative changes.
  • I believe that everyday we are creating our stories, each becoming part of our legacy.
  • I believe we can create more deliberate, meaningful legacies when we actively think about how our actions relate to our bigger dreams and purpose-fully pursue those dreams.
  • I believe when people, organizations, and communities focus on the legacies they wish to create, their stories begin to shift and deep, impactful change begins.
  • I believe when we purpose-fully collaborate, we co-create our new stories. And that this creation is more meaningful, and far-reaching than any of us could ever imagine, or do, on our own.
  • I believe we all need more joy in our lives- permission to celebrate the good as we strive for continued improvement.
  • I believe that which we focus on we create more of. And by ‘sharing up’ positive experiences and encouraging others, we are creating space for more of the same.
  • I believe in abundance, that true prosperity is possible for everyone.
  • I believe it is possible to achieve economic security and freedom without sacrificing your beliefs.
  • I believe the path to true prosperity begins with passion.
  • I believe in the power of “small”. That more can be accomplished with smaller corporations, small towns and small groups, and that this can be a foundation for lasting prosperity.
  • I believe I have a purpose- that all of my experiences have led me here, to serve others in a purpose-fully, soul-fulling way that will allow myself and those I serve, to reach new levels.
  • I believe I can be prosperous and soul-filled.
